My Favourite Buys From 2025 (Low-Tox + Real Food Faves)

I wanted to share some of my tried, tested, and favourite repeat purchases from 2025. From food staples I’ll probably always buy, to natural supplements I love, plus a few of my go-to low-tox essentials like haircare, makeup, and sunscreen, and even a few random things I ended up loving way more than I thought I would.

MY FAVOURITE LOW TOX HAIRCARE

Finding the perfect shampoo and conditioner combo can honestly feel like a bit of a journey, but it’s so worth it when you finally find something that actually works for your hair.

My favourite low-tox haircare products are from EverEscents Organic Hair Care, and their curly hair range, Clever Curl. They’re free from sulphates, silicones and other harsh ingredients, but still deeply nourishing and hydrating, which makes them such a great option for wavy and curly hair. I personally reach for the unscented Clever Curl products (the scented ones just aren’t my fave), but I do love the scented options I’ve tried from the EverEscents range.

MY FAVOURITE GRANDMA HOBBIES

Crosswords and my Kindle were my favourite phone-free activities last year. I’m honestly convinced that embracing “grandma hobbies” was one of the best decisions I made - they helped me slow down, switch off, and enjoy some calm, screen-free time.

If you love reading or listening to audiobooks, I’d also recommend the Libby app. It’s such an easy way to borrow books from your local library (for free!), and it’s been a game-changer for keeping my phone use in check while still enjoying a good story.

MY FAVOURITE REPURCHASES FROM JIVITA

These ended up being my most repurchased goodies from Jivita:

  • The entire Good Fish range. I like to keep a stash of these in the pantry for those times when you need a quick snack or lunch. They’re perfect in a salad, on rice cakes, or GF toast with avo and a drizzle of chilli oil and/or mayo.

  • Byron Bay Company Coffee. This is organic and mould-free, which is great for avoiding brain fog and keeping your energy steady throughout the day.

  • Thankfully Nourished Grass-Fed & Finished Collagen. I add a spoon to my daily coffee with cream. I also love adding a bit into some of my favourite recipes, like GF Banana Bread.

  • Activated Charcoal Powder. A gentle way to support detox; it can also help ease uncomfortable bloating and gas.

  • Organic Chlorella Tablets. Another favourite supplement because it’s a gentle but powerful detox helper. It binds to toxins like lead, cadmium, and mercury, helping prevent them from being reabsorbed and supporting their removal from the body. On top of that, chlorella can support your immune system, promote healthy skin, help regulate blood sugar, and naturally boost energy and mental clarity.

  • OysterMax Capsules. These are a wonderful source of zinc and copper, and one of the richest sources of minerals that are essential for supporting immune function, hormone balance, energy production, and overall cellular health.

  • Loco Love Chocolate. Specifically, the Butter Caramel Pecan, because it’s my partner’s ultimate favourite. I don’t even want to know how many of these we ate last year hehe.

If you’d love to try any of these goodies, or check out Jivita’s amazing and diverse range, you can use jordiepieface for $15 off your first order ($130 minimum).

  • A double-walled stainless steel plunger. I scored a really good, large one at an op shop for just $10 - hands down one of my best buys of the year. I’m so glad I’ve made the switch from glass to stainless steel, especially after accidentally breaking way too many glass ones over the years.

  • I’m slowly investing in The Low Tox Project pieces one at a time, rather than replacing everything at once. Next on my list will probably be some stainless steel bakingware. But last year I got two of their stainless steel canisters, and we store our organic coffee grounds in the largest one. It keeps them incredibly fresh and completely moisture-free. You can use the code ‘JORDANPIE’ for 10% off.

  • Solidteknics AUS-ION™ 26cm Frypan. This one’s an investment piece, but it’s genuinely 10000% worth it. I use it at least twice a day. I have a few of their pans, but this is by far my most-used. If you want to try any of the Solidteknics pans, you can use ‘SOLIDPIE’ for 5% off.

THE SUPPLEMENTS I WAS MOST CONSISTENT WITH

These three supplements from Cell Squared were the ones I was most consistent with:

  • Organic Beef Liver & Spleen Capsules, especially leading up to, and during my period and the Men’s Innate Capsules (for my partner). These are our go-to real-food supplements when we need a natural energy boost. They're packed with iron, B vitamins, vitamin A, copper, zinc and more. The Liver & Spleen Capsules alone provide 9.4mg of iron per serve -that’s 78% of the RDI - making them an incredible natural source of iron. I also love how convenient they are, too.

  • Organic Beef Organs. I sprinkle a little of this onto my morning scrambled or fried eggs with a drizzle of chilli oil, fresh herbs and a little parmesan cheese. I love that I can get a wide range of nutrients so easily and conveniently from the mixed organ meats. It’s a simple way to boost my meals with extra vitamins and minerals.

You can use my exclusive code “JORDIE10” with Cell Squared for 10% off everything.

Last year we started going on more and more camping missions, and my partner suggested we get a pull-out camp kitchen for the back of our 4WD. It was an investment, but it’s been so worth it. Now everything just lives in the back of the car, which means no more packing half our kitchen every trip. It’s honestly made camping so much easier.

I’ve loved every Mukti product I’ve tried, but these two were my go-tos last year. Their new sunscreen is light and hydrating with just a subtle tint that helps avoid a white cast without actually tinting your face. And the Marigold Hydrating Cream has over 1,000 five-star reviews. Once you try it, you’ll understand why - it feels so beautiful on the skin.

You can use “JORDIEPIEFACE” for 20% off your first order.

I don’t wear makeup very often, so when I do, I want it to feel natural (mostly because I genuinely have no idea what I’m doing). Melvory’s BB Cream is currently my favourite to wear, it’s lightweight, easy to blend and it sits really well over sunscreen or a light moisturiser.

You can use “JORDANPIE15” for 15% off.

Some of these buys were intentional staples, some were happy accidents, and a few definitely surprised me in the best way. But every single one earned its place by being practical, nourishing, or genuinely enjoyable to use, which, in my opinion, is the best kind of recommendation.
